The High Uintas: Kings Peak

The High Uintas Wilderness and Kings Peak (13,528')
We approached from the Henrys Fork trailhead
along with a zillion other people. Kings Peak is the highest point in Utah and that's pretty much the only reason we did it. This was my first trip to the Uintas. The High Uintas are a vast place and we had no problem getting away from most of the people except for right on the summit. The weather was amazing and pretty warm. The very next weekend the peaks were capped with snow so we did the trip just in time.
